Learning Spanish is easier than learning many other languages.
Spanish is phonetic. Words are spelled the way they sound.
Not like English: "laugh" sounds like it should end in "f" and "there" & "their" are spelled differently but sound the same. Notice also that I used the US spelling of the word "spelled". In the UK this is spelled "spelt". So many variables in English! Not nearly so many in Spanish.
Believe it or not, this means that once you've learned a few simple rules and practiced them a bit, you can read practically all Spanish words! There are exceptions in every language, but in Spanish there are comparatively few.
Below you will find advice, tips and ideas to help you get the most out of your efforts, thereby learning Spanish quickly and effectively. Also provided are some tips and techniques to allow you to fit your Spanish around your lifestyle and your preferred way of learning - just follow the relevant links.

In reality, most people benefit from a balanced combination of learning styles.
For example, my preferred learning style involves seeing and reading information (visual), then re-writing it in order to remember it best (kinesthetic).
